What is the Primary Authority Partnership (PAP)?

Checkit has been developed with an Environmental Health Officer (EHO) partner as part of its Primary Authority Partnership (PAP) with Cambridge City Council (CCC).

The Checkit Food Safety Group (CFSG) / Primary Authority Partnership scheme carries several benefits.

This includes the development of the Checkit adapted version of Safer Food Better Business (SFBB).

You can read further on the PAP scheme established by CCC here.

“Through the Primary Authority Partnership, Cambridge City Council has approved the use of the Checkit solution as a food safety management system, clearing the way for widespread adoption of the new technology. Through the partnership, Cambridge City Council is able to provide confidence and advice to Checkit customers who sign up as partner businesses, and confirmation to other food authorities across the UK that Checkit is able to fulfil the legal requirements food businesses must have.”
