Quick Reference: Control Centre Management

Purpose

During the hiatus you might have disabled rules and work, built up alerts, your credentials might have expired, etc. This article provides guidance on how to achieve a successful outcome to get your business running smoothly.

Cannot Access Control Centre

If you are having difficulty signing into your account, please watch this video which details how you may retrieve your credentials.

As long as you have been set up in the system, you will be able to click on Forgot Password? and from here you will be able to perform the necessary steps to gain access.

 


Managing Staff Members and Teams

You might need to add additional team members or remove members that are no longer working with the product. Below, you will find the best way to perform these tasks.

Permission levels must be correct in order to add and remove members. Please note the following:

  • Supervisor: Add & Remove Operators and Supervisors within assigned team(s).
  • Safety Manager & Admin: Add, unassign & delete team members.

 Scheduling Work

There might be a need to re-enable work or create new checks, or assign work to different teams. If this is necessary, you will need to be a Safety Manager or Admin. Below you will find helpful information on how to accomplish these tasks.

Re-Enabling Work

You may have decided to disable work while your business temporarily closed. If so, this is a fairly easy task. Please do the following:

  1. Go to Configuration Widget.
  2. Click "View/Edit" on Work Management section.
  3. Click "Work"
  4. Click "Search Work"
  5. You may filter work by Location, Team, Checklist Type, and Scheduled vs. Not Scheduled.
  6. Once you have filtered, click on Amber Icon to Enable the checklist.

Notes:

  • If you need to edit Where, Who and When properties, you may click the Green, pen, Icon to edit these.
  • Click on the Checklist type to perform edits of the desired checks to be performed.

Managing Automated Monitoring Rules

There might be a need to re-establish sensor rules within your Automated Monitoring. If this is necessary, you will need to be a Safety Manager or Admin. Below you will find helpful information on how to accomplish these tasks.

Re-establishing Sensor Rules

You may have decided to disable monitoring rules while your business temporarily closed. If so, this is a fairly easy task. Please do the following:

  1. Go to Configuration Widget.
  2. Click "View/Edit" on Work Management section.
  3. Click "Monitoring"
  4. Click "Search Monitoring"
  5. You may filter monitoring by Location, Team, Sensor, and Rule.
  6. Once you have filtered, click on Amber Icon to Enable the rule.

 


Clearing Alerts

Whether it is during normal daily challenges or a temporary shut down to your business, there will be a need to clear alerts. These alerts could be due to scheduled work or sensors. In this section, Checkit will provide you with information to get your platform running smoothly again.

Important: It is advised that a Safety Manager or Admin assess all alerts and perform a bulk clearing of them before attempting to download onto Memo.

Within the Alert Widget, you will have the option to bulk clear, however this must be performed by an Admin or Safety Manager. This video will help to familiarise you with the Alert Widget, Alert Type and Status, and how to clear them.

How to Set Up E-Mail Alerts

Checkit provides alert notifications whenever there is a Hub or Sensor that has gone offline or alerting for another reason. The platform also will notify respective members when work has gone overdue. In order to receive these alerts, please review the provided guidance.

  1. If configured, and not receiving the alerts, check Junk or SPAM folder, so that you do not miss one of Checkit's vital alerts.
