Set Up and Use Mobile Phones and/or Checkit Memos

In order to access and complete the checks and checklists you create, staff will use either a mobile phone with the Checkit App installed or a Checkit Memo which comes with the App pre-installed. Some staff may use their own or a dedicated device while in other situations a phone or Memo may be shared by a team (shift situations for example).

To complete an installation of the Checkit App you must have a login to the Checkit Control Centre and that login must have Safety Manager or Administrator level access: those with logins which have Supervisor or Operator access cannot install the Checkit App but they can use it once it has been installed on their phone and the necessary PIN number given to them. So if you want to use the App on staff mobile phones you will need staff agreement to install Checkit on their phone because it will not be appropriate for all staff will be Safety Managers or Administrators.
