4.2. Setting Up / Accessing Your Account (New Users)

Setting Up and Accessing Your Account

You will need to use an internet enabled PC or mobile devices to access the Control Centre and please ensure that you have received an email from Checkit with your login credentials.

If you are required access to the control centre and have not received an email from Checkit to complete the setup , please do report this to your manager or Checkit Engineer.

To access your account, you will need to follow the instruction below:

  1. Go to Checkit Cloud control centre using https://app.checkit.net.
  2. Log in with your email address and password.
  3. Once logged in, you will be presented with the Checkit dashboard.
  4. Go to CONFIGURATION and select Work Management (View/Edit).
  5. Your assigned roles will determine what you can see on your account.
  6. You will either see some or all of the 5W’s (Where, Who, What, When or Work).


Users Roles / Permissions :
Some users will only have limited access to the Control Centre but the Safety Manager will have access to everything (unlimited access).

There are two type of roles within Checkit and these are listed below:

  1. Manager Roles
    • Safety Manager of location
    • Administrator of location
  2. Team Roles
    • Supervisor of Team
    • Operator in Teams (Not required)

Safety Manager
They are responisble for creating and maintaining Work and monitoring for the locations to which they are assigned to by Administration.

  1. They are also known as Super
  2. Able to create, update or delete the following:
    • Users and Teams
    • Schedules
    • Checklists
    • Fridge & Freezer temperature rules.
  3. They can view and action Check, overdue and sensors alerts by location and able to use "Clear All" function.
  4. Can generate reports for the following:
    • Work
    • Alerts
    • Monitoring
    • Monitroing summary
  5. Can generate an authentication token for operational insights.
  6. Access to the Hub's offline dashboard.

 

Administrator
They are responsible for setting up the business location hierarchy (Where page) and managing any hardware associated with the account.

Administrators can also create users and generate alert reports and they are known as the primary account holder.

  1. Have access to the Control centre.
  2. Create, read, update or delete Locations.
  3. View and action service alerts by Location.
  4. Able to use the "Clear All" function.
  5. Create, read, update or delete Users.
  6. Access to the Hub’s offline dashboard.
  7. Access to the devices widgets (hardware management)
  8. View Automated Monitoring status widget.
  9. Can be assigned as an “Escalation Contact” for a Team.

 

Supervisor
They have limited Control Centre access, with the majority of tasks being completed on the Memo. Supervisors are responsible for the completion of work management within their teams.

  1. Have access to the Control centre.
  2. Create, read, update or delete Teams.
  3. Create, read, update or delete Users without management roles.
  4. View and action Check, Overdue and Sensor alerts by Team
  5. Can read Locations
  6. Can generate reports for the following:
    • Work
    • Alerts
    • Monitoring
    • Monitroing summary
  7. View Automated Monitoring status widget.
  8. Can be assigned as an “Escalation Contact” for a Team
  9. Can access the Memo and complete work

 

Logging in & Navigating Control Centre

To access the cloud control centre, simply enter http://app.checkit.net on your web browser. You will be prompt to enter your login credentials.

If the password to the account is forgotten, we can re-create a new password for the log in page. See to the picture 2.

Overview of the Control Centre Dashboard

Once successfully logged in, the next page you will see is the control centre dashboard. This is where all of the configurations are carried, view work or alerts reports, all the work are set up on here before downloading them to the memo.
